It's Fall Y'all

I love fall! It's sweater weather, football watching, chili making and just down right cozy. Time to stop sweating every time I walk outside and take a breather from shaving every five seconds because you never know when your kids might want to suddenly take a trip to the community pool. I don't want to scare small children with my stubble or cut anyone who swims a little too close to my legs.

Fall also means fall decor. Our annual family pumpkin patch trip will be next weekend and I'll be sure post all the goodies I collect from our trip. It usually consists of a bale of hay for outside, some corn stalks for decorating and way to many pumpkins and gourds. I tend to get carried away in the gourd section. And of course I get to break out all my indoor decor as well. I love it! While the traditional orange and fall decor may not exactly match my home decor, I just go with it. The kids love it. You don't have to go over the top to prepare, but welcoming fall is a must in my house. I also change out all my candles and home fragrances.
